Direct Mail

For three years, I wrote direct mail pieces for the Rice Annual Fund, which saw an increase in giving during that time. Here is a piece to notify alumni that student callers would be contacting them soon.

The men and women in blue will be calling you.

Please don't think of us as pests. We certainly don't want to alienate you. We'll try not to bug you during dinner.

OK, enough of the Men in Black puns, but with hectic school and work schedules, nights are the only times we students have to call you about the exciting things happening at Rice University. So please don't hang up on us! Our student telefund program is a primary way we stay in touch with alumni and secure gifts that support scholarships and enhance student life. Your help will be appreciated, and we look forward to talking to you soon!
